Durham-based Cardinal State Bank will open its Hillsborough branch on Sept. 5, the bank announced Wednesday. The bank’s Hillsborough branch, its fourth, is located at 100 S. Churton St. The new branch will officially open at 9 a.m. on Sept. 5 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a breakfast catered by Hillsborough’s Tony’s Barbeque.
