THOMASTON — Mama Nem’s Bistro, the eatery associated with the Alabama Rural Heritage Center, now has a new chef to add to their already experienced staff. Chef Dodd Orten, originally from Greenville, Tenn. but now a resident of Linden, will have his first day with the bistro this week.

Mr. Flannagin was en route to visit his parents when the wreck occurred, and he left behind a loving wife (Noellani) and two children, (Nick and Leilani), all of whom have many friends in town.
